  • Qualification: Employer must have relationship with foreign company and do business in U.S. . Employee must have one year experience in the last three years.
  • New Offices: Foreign companies must ensure physical space and financial capacity.
  • Stay: Initial maximum of 1 year, extendable to 5 years.

  • General Coverage Requests: Some organizations may use this option to qualify. Requires trade or commercial services, U.S. office for a year or more, and certain criteria.

Family of Workers L-1

Employee may bring spouse and children under 21 years old, who may apply for L-2 and work authorization.
